Our role is to capture and elevate community feedback and lived experience and feed this directly into our scrutiny, advice, and challenge of policing leadership. We do not deliver services or programmes, which enables us to remain independent and impartial.
Organisations and groups can support our work by:
- Sharing community feedback and lived experience to inform our Board discussions and scrutiny activity
- Contributing to Board meetings, where appropriate, to present insight, concerns, or evidence
- Providing specialist or lived experience input on specific issues when required
- Sharing community-generated data and research to strengthen independent scrutiny
- Supporting transparent and accountable policing through informed engagement
Our commitment to independence
All engagement is guided by our commitment to independence, transparency, and accountability. Contributions are used solely to inform scrutiny and recommendations.
If you would like to share insight or contribute to our work, contact us to discuss appropriate engagement.
